Mitchell Wayne Castleman

Mitchell Wayne Castleman, age 61, of Glencoe, passed away Thursday, December 5, 2024.

He was born April 18, 1963, in Owen County, the son of the late Edward and Margaret Gaines Castleman. Mitchell was a devoted employee of Wal-Mart in Dry Ridge.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an accomplished nature photographer.

Mitchell will be missed by his brothers, Edward Castleman and Lee (Cindy) Castleman; nieces and nephews, Elizabeth (Jacob) Bryant, Katie (Shane) Keith, and James Castleman.  He is also survived by his great-niece, Charlotte Bryant.

New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.  Family will receive friends for visitation, at the Main Street location, on Monday, December 9, 2024 from 11 am to 1 pm. Funeral services will follow at 1 pm with Bro. David "Milkweed" Wotier presiding. Burial will be in the Jonesville Cemetery.
