Mildred Louise "Mim" Lynn

Mildred Louise "Mima" Lynn passed away at her home on November 13, 2017 at the age of 96. She was born in Owen County the daughter of the late Grover and Annie G. Lusby Lynn. She was also preceded by two brothers, Tennie and James "Mooney" Lynn and a nephew Jim Lynn. Mima attended Spencerian Business School, worked as a secretary and was a former Deputy Tax Commissioner, she was a member of the Owenton First Christian Church where she was an elder and Sunday School teacher and former Chairman of the Board. She was also a member of the Owen County Woman's Club and was a past President of the Kentucky Woman's Club Federation. She is survived by her sister, Mayme Kelley, four nieces, Pat (Buck) Beverly, Lora Lynn, Karen Lynn Norem and Mary Louanne (Paul) Cobb. Also surviving are five great nephews, five great nieces and ten great great nephews. The funeral is at the Owenton First Christian Church on Wednesday Nov. 15 at 2PM. Visitation starts at 10 AM. Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery.
