Mildred Hellmann Byrne

Mildred Anne Byrne, 79, of Owenton, died Sunday, January 4, 2009 at the Owenton Manor. Born February 20, 1929, in Covington, she was the daughter of the late William and Mildred Feigle Hellmann and was also preceded in death by her daughter Jacquelyn Tennant. Mrs. Byrne was a retired Account Services Representative for US Bank in Northern Kentucky. She is survived by her daughter Glenda Shields of Corinth; two sisters, Laverne Bramlage of Hebron and Ruth Bratton of Edgewood. Three grandchildren, Phyllis Bays of Owenton, Christina Rennekamp of Newport News, VA and Carrie Kramer of Williamstown and five great grandchildren also survive. Arrangements are being handled by McDonald & New Funeral Homes where family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Tuesday, January 6 from 4-8pm. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11am with Bro. David “Milkweed” Wotier officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
