Mike Mccormick

Michael Patrick "Mike" McCormick, age 62, of New Liberty, passed away at his home on Thursday, September 16, 2021.

Born September 20, 1958, in Hamilton, OH, he was the son of the late Carl McCormick and Alyce Treadway McCormick, who survives. Mike served his county in the United States Marine Corps. He was a lifelong farmer and a member of the Dallasburg Baptist Church.  He loved being outside, farming, baling hay, and hunting.  He took daily trips around the farm on his four-wheeler with his faithful dog and enjoyed being "Papaw Mike" to his grandchildren.

He will be missed by his wife of over 25 years, Denise Becker McCormick; his mother, Alyce McCormick; his children, Kyle McCormick, Skyler (Derek) Martin, and Nicole McCormick; his brothers, William "Billy" McClanahan, and Ramond "Teddy" Amick; his granddaughters, Olivia, Adelayde, and Euna Martin; his dog, who was by side until the end, Marshall Tucker; as well as a host of extended family and friends.

McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Dallasburg Baptist Church on Thursday, September 23, 2021, from 3 - 5 pm.  Funeral services will follow at 5 pm with Bro. Michael David presiding. We respectfully request masks be worn for all services. Burial will be at 11 am on Friday in Spring Grove Cemetery in Cincinnati, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dallasburg Baptist Church.
