Mickey Miller

Carolyn "Mickey" Miller, age 69, of Owenton, passed away Saturday, November 28, 2020 at her home.

Born January 25, 1951, in a four room house in the Long Ridge community, she was the daughter of the late John Henry Barbour and Frances "Snooks" Willenborg Barbour. She was the widow of Richard  Miller.  Mickey was a 1969 graduate of Owen County High School and a member of Old Cedar Baptist Church. She worked for the Commonwealth of Kentucky in the division of Child Support for over 20 years. Mickey enjoyed playing church softball and cooking. She was a loving mother and grandmother whose family was the most important thing to her.

Mickey is survived by her sons, Mint Miller of Owenton and John (Emily) Miller of Georgetown; five grandchildren, David, Chevelle, Branson, Daniel, and Leah Grace; her sister Jean Barbour Jones of Owenton; nephew Anthony "Tony" Kyler and her caregiver, Pat Miller.

McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in carge of arrangements. A private service will be held with Bro. Dale Adkins presiding. Burial will be in the Monterey Cemetery and memorial contributions may be made to Old Cedar Baptist Church or Bluegrass Care Navigators Hospice.
