Michelle Lee Montgomery

Michelle Lee Montgomery, age 52, of Owenton, passed away at her home on Tuesday, February 27, 2024.

Born September 29, 1971, in Lexington, KY, she is the daughter of Kenneth (Violet) Fiscus and Rosella "Jackie Sparrow who survive. Michelle was a 1989 graduate of Owen County High School and was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, gardening, and crafting.  She adored her children and loved spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed being outdoors, camping, hiking, hunting, and riding four wheelers.

In addition to her parents, Michelle is survived by her husband, Bobby Montgomery; her children, Brandon Smith, Andrea Smith and Nicholas Kaelin; her grandchildren, Kaden and Kaylee Smith, and Aleena Kaelin; brothers, Shawn Fiscus, Tom, Nick, and Sean Dearing; as well as a host of extended family and friends.

New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. A memorial service will be held at 12:30pm on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at Monterey Baptist Church.  Visitation will begin at 11:30 and Bro. David "Milkweed" Wotier will preside.
