Michael Lee Small

Michael Lee "Mike" Small, age 61, of Simpsonville, passed away Friday, April 20, 2018 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.Born September 15, 1956, in Lousiville, KY, he was the son of the late James Franklin and Mildred Marie Marston Small.  Mike was an electronics engineer for Johnson Controls.  He loved music and was a talented guitar player.  He also enjoyed cooking and feeding others.Mike is survived by his wife, Kathryn Burkhalter Small; his step-son,Chad Marquis; his brother, Steve (Sandy) Small and his niece and nephews, Lucie Small, Steven Small and Benjamin Bennett.McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.
