Michael Steven Slaughter

Michael Steven Slaughter, a resident of Bowling Green, passed away Sunday at the age of 31. He was born in Frankfort on October 23, 1976 the son of Don and Janis Barber Slaughter of Owenton. He was an employee of Southern Foods and was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. He was married to Sarah VanSickle and together they have three daughters, Haley Jestean, Tara Rayne and Kylie Danielle Slaughter. He is also survived by a sister Michelle Slaughter of Owenton. Preceding him in death were his maternal grandparents, Emmett Darrell and Mildred Morris Barber and his paternal grandparents, Bill and Jestean Carter Slaughter. Arrangements are being handled by McDonald & New Funeral Homes. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location, Tuesday, June 3, from 4 until 8pm. Funeral services will be held at 2:30PM Wednesday, June 4 with Bro. Dave Wotier officiating. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery. Memorial Contributions are suggested to a trust fund for the girls
