Melissa Dawn "Missy" Smith

Melissa Dawn "Missy" Smith, 44, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2016 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. Born November 18, 1971 in Covington, KY, she was the daughter of Carl and Bonnie Bungenstock Smith of Perry Park. Missy was a 1989 graduate of Owen County High School and the owner and operator of Shirt Girl, a screen print business. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her son, Andrew Coffman: her sisters, Sonya (Chuck) Reeder and Sabrina Olds; her brother Jeff (Mary) Smith. Eight nieces and nephews also survive. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Tuesday September 27, 2016 from 5 to 7pm. A Celebration of Life will follow at 7PM. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
