Mattie Mae Kincaid

Mattie Mae Kincaid, age 87, of Owenton passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at the New Horizons Medical Center. Born March 23, 1927, in Sherman, KY, she was the daughter of the late John and Nancy Howard Duncan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Kincaid and her siblings, Nellie Hawkins, Susan Perkins, Raymond Duncan and Lena Hunter. Mattie was a homemaker and a member of the Lusby's Mill Baptist Church. She and her husband, Floyd, owned and operated the Court House Restaurant and she managed the Dollar General Store for many years. Surviving are her sons, Ronnie (Beverly) Kincaid and Terry (Joan) Kincaid and her daughter, Judy Vannarsdall. Her sister, Letha Young. Seven grandchildren, Kristi, Rodney, Michelle, Michael, Melissa, Tammy and Melanie and fifteen grandchildren also survive. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Friday, January 9th from 11am until 1 pm. Funeral services will follow at 1pm with Bro. Jesse Bourne and Bro. Ken McCain presiding. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lusby's Mill Baptist Church.
