Mary Virginia King

Mary Virginia Hensley King, age 93, of Warsaw, passed away Monday, April 5, 2021, at St. E Hospice.

Born April 15, 1927, in Owen County, she was the daughter of the late WM Gobel and Stella Mae Gordy Hensley. She was also preceded in death by her three sisters, Lena Stacher, Josie Hammonds and Ellis Hensley; her children, Wanda King Schave, Ronnie King, Billy King and two infant children. Mary was a member of the First Baptist Church. She was a former retiree from Rich Ladder, as a press operator. You could find Mary fishing, growing flowers, cleaning at Elk Lake, nature walking or spending time with her family and friends.

Mary will be missed by her children; Janice King, Linda (David) Dunn, David King, Roger King; her siblings; James and Junior Hensley; her grandchildren; Tony, Troy, Jesse, Katie (Ricky), Mark (Christine), Rodney (Mary), Chris (Shellie), Tammy, Lonnie (Margina), Brian, Becka, Tonya, Debbie, Trisha, Roger Jr. and James and 16 great - grandchildren as well with a host of family and friends

McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Seminary Street location on Friday, April 9, 2021, from 11 - 2 PM for a pass-thru visitation. Mask and social distancing are required. Funeral service will follow at 2 pm with Bro. David Milkweed Wotier presiding. Burial will be in the Napoleon Cemetery and memorial contributions may be made to Hospice. Live stream available here.
