Mary Tufano Juett

Mary Anne Tufano Juett, age 74, of Owenton, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2019 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center.

Born June 25, 1945, in McDowell County, West Virginia she was the daughter of the late William and Goldie Kennedy Tufano. Mary's father emigrated to the United States from Italy, arriving in New York, before eventually making his home in Kentucky. Mary was the widow of Jackie Juett and a member of the Richland Baptist Church. She worked for North Park Pharmacy, now Cull Family Pharmacy for over 30 years, in charge of purchasing stock and taking care of customers. She worked dutifully until very recently when her health began to fail. Mary was a devoted mother and loved shopping and having fun with others.

She is survived by her sons, Jeff and Chris Juett; her siblings, Elizabeth Barker, Lewis Tufano and Charlie Tufano as well as a host of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.  Mary was preceded in death by her brothers, Noah, Carl, Bill and Jack Tufano.

McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.  Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 from 4 - 8 pm.  Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Thursday at Richland Baptist Church with Bro. Tom Hall presiding. Burial will be in the Richland Baptist Church Cemetery and memorial contributions are suggested to either Food From the Heart Ministry or Richland Baptist.
