Mary Frances Tipton

Mary Frances Tipton, age 74, of Owenton, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2023 at her residence.

Born July 25, 1948, in Indiana, she was the daughter of the late William and Rosie Bell Lewis Shuler. She was the widow of Harold Tipton whom she married on June 19, 1965. She was also preceded in death by her brother George Shuler; son-in-law Michael Cheeks; brother-in-law, Milton Redmon.  Mrs. Tipton was a homemaker and a member of the Frankfort Seventh Day Adventist Church. She enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren, word searches, and studying her bible. She also enjoyed cooking, gardening, and canning.

She will be missed by her children, Harold Gene (Dabney) Tipton, Jr. and Sandra Cheeks; grandchildren, Amberly (Josh) Corbett, Megan (Brandon) Logan, Aaron (Odessa) Tipton, Bethany (Devin) Carter, Evalina (Bennie) Higgs, Bill (Mary K.) Shuler, Jr., Brenda (Clifton) Taylor, Connie Redmon, Jeanette (Jimmy) Collins, Stoney (Katy) Shuler, Jimmy (Kim) Shuler; great grandchildren, Dallas, Grayson, Hannah, & Bryson; sister-in-law, Kathy Shuler; as well as several nieces and nephews.

New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends for visitation at the Seminary Street location on Thursday, May 4, 2023 from 11 am util 2 pm.  Funeral services will be follow at 2 pm with Bro. David "Milkweed" Wotier presiding. Memorial contributions may be made to Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.
