Mary "Fannie" Wilhoite

Mary F. "Fannie" Wilhoite, age 94 of Owenton, passed away Friday, January 16, 2015 at Owenton Center. Born August 22, 1920, in Owen County, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Beula Dunavent Bibb and the widow of J.B. "Hawk" Wilhoite. She was also preceded in death by five brothers and one grandson. Fannie was a homemaker and a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Surviving are her sons, Donald (Ginny) Wilhoite, Buddy (Janet) Wilhoite and Jerry (Judy) Wilhoite; her daughter, Patricia (Bruce) True; and her sister, Anna Fitzgerald. Also surviving are her eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great great grandson. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Seminary Street location on Monday, January 19th from 11am until 1pm. Funeral services will follow at 1pm with Bro. Dale Adkins presiding. Burial will be in the Monterey Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church or the Monterey Cemetery.
