Martha Jackson

Martha Jackson, age 86 and a resident of Carrollton, passed away Monday, April 19th, at the Green Valley Health & Rehabilitation Center. Born January 4, 1924 in Laurel County, KY she was the daughter of the late Lee and Mary Watkins McWhorter. She was also preceded in death by her husband Alva Jackson and siblings Clarence, Lee, Mark and Mae McWhorter and Minnie Swanner . Martha was a homemaker and member of the Carrollton First Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, James and Andrew Jackson both of Carrollton. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 20th, from 4 until 8pm and the funeral will be on Wednesday at 11am at the Graham-Dunn Funeral Home in Carrollton. Burial will be in the Carrollton Cemetery.
