Marlene Hopkins

Marlene Hopkins, 69 of Warsaw, passed away on Saturday, December 29th at her residence. She was the daughter of the late William and Mary Margaret Smith Hopkins. She was a member of the Sparta Christian Church Disciples of Christ. Marlene is survived by her daughter; Lesa (Greg) Bullard of Ghent. One brother; Ernest Hopkins of Sparta, four sisters; Barbara (Danny) McKenzie of Sanders, Norma Bladen of Warsaw, Brenda (Sidney) Gullion of Sparta and Sharon (Steve) Braaten of Indianapolis,IN. one grandson; Matthew Bullard. She was preceded in death by her brothers; Marvin”Pete” Hopkins, James Allen Smith and Bernard “Cowboy” Hopkins. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 4th at 2pm at Garnett-New-Mcdonald Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 10am at the funeral home. Pastor Bonnie Gregory will officiate the services. Burial will be in the Warsaw Cemetery. Pallbearers: Willie Hopkins, Trey Young, Tim Glore, Cory Glore, Pete Auchter and Kyle Gullion. Honorary Pallbearers: Sidney Gullion, Danny McKenzie, John Parker, Steve Braaten , Ernie Hopkins, David Smith, Tony McIntyre.
