Marjorie Louise Maddox

Marjorie Louise Tuttle Maddox, age 95 of Jonesville, passed away Monday, January 23, 2017, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence. Born November 5, 1921, in Estill County, she was the daughter of the late James Albert and Maggie Witt Tuttle and the widow of Walter "Mutt" Maddox. She was also preceded in death by her son Joe Maddox and several siblings. Mrs. Maddox was a member of the Jonesville United Methodist Church and a homemaker. Surviving are her children, Ronnie (Connie) Maddox, Mike (Brenda (Maddox) Barry (Debbie) Maddox, Judy (Ben) Campbell, Debbie Hudson, Glenna Saylor and Sheryl Nowakowski; daughter in law, Bridgett Maddox; her brother Leon Tuttle; eighteen grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Thursday, January 27, 2017, from 4-8 pm. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Friday with Bro. Sean Ryan and Bro. Chuck Britt presiding. Burial will be in the Jonesville Cemetery and memorial contributions may be made to the Jonesville United Methodist Church.
