Marie Carol Roberts

Marie Carol Roberts, age 70, of Owenton passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood.Born December 8, 1947, in Covington, KY, she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Marie Knoll Von Bokern.  Marie was homemaker and a member of Remnant Baptist Church.  She enjoyed sewing, cooking and out fishing her husband.Surviving are her husband Thomas Roberts; her children, Rich and Zac Roberts, Kim Allgeir and Sheila Hoffacker.  She is also survived by her eight grandchildren.McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.  Family will receive friends at Remnant Baptist Church on Thursday, March 8, 2018 from Noon until 2 pm.  Funeral services will follow at 2pm with Bro. Darren Wolford officiating.  Burial will follow in the Remnant Baptist Church Cemetery.
