Marie B Gaines

Marie B. Gaines, age 90, of Owenton, passed away Monday, February 19, 2018, at her home.Born March 14, 1927, in Scott County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Margaret Annis Osborne.  She was the widow of Albert Gaines and preceded in death by her children, Charles Albert Gaines and Connie Sue Moore.  Mrs. Gaines was a homemaker.She is survived by her daughters, Lillian King of Owenton and Sandra (Harold) Walters of Batavia, OH; her brothers, David and Franklin Osborne; ten grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, and nineteen great-great-grandchildren.McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.  Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Friday, February 23, 2018, from Noon until 2 pm.  Funeral services will follow at 2 pm with burial in the Owenton Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Owen County Children's Fund.
