Marie Brumback

Shirley Marie Brumback, age 70, of Owenton passed away Sunday, June 9, 2019, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.

Born March 25, 1949, in Cincinnati, OH, she was the daughter of the late Walter Webster and Catherine Fendler Webster, who survives. She was preceded in death by her brother, Ricky Webster.  Marie was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist faith. She volunteered at the Owen County Clothing Center, was a caregiver and was always helping others.

She is survived by her children,  Butch Brumback, Christopher Webster, and Christie Webster; her brother, Roy Webster; eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Seminary Street location on Friday, June 14, 2019 from 11am until 2pm. Funeral services will follow at 2pm with Bro. David "Milkweed" Wotier presiding. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery and memorial contributions may be made to the Owen County Clothing Center.
