Margaret Clark Williams

Margaret Clark Williams, 96, of Owenton, passed away Thursday July 24h at the Harborside Health Care Center. Born October 25, 1911, in Owen County, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Sallie Clark Mills and the widow of Henry Thurman Clark. Mrs. Williams was a retired secretary for Farm Credit, known then as Northern Production Credit, and a member of the Owenton First Christian Church. She is survived by her daughter, Ann Carolyn Baldwin of Owenton; her sister Janet Martin of Silver Springs, MD; three grandchildren, Mark Baldwin, Sandra Ellis and Beth Traughber. Eight great grandchildren and two great –great grandchildren also survive. Pall bearers will be Casey and Josh Ellis, Seth Traughber, Mark Baldwin, Jim and Wallace Bush. Arrangements are being handled by McDonald & New Funeral Homes. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location, Sunday, July 27th, from 2 -6pm. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11am with Bro. Bill Watson and Bro. Jesse Bourne presiding. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the First Christian Church Building Fund.
