Mae Magline "Tag" King, age 64, went home to be with the angels on Wednesday, July 25th after battling illness at the University of KY Chandler Medical Center. Born July 10, 1948, to the late Burchell and Elizabeth Taylor Wagers, she was a homemaker and a member of the Stewartsville Baptist Church. Also preceding her in death was her sister, Jackie Murphy. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all who came into contact with her. Surviving are her husband, Horace King of Lexington; two sons, Phillip Hamilton of Carrollton and Thomas King of Owenton; two daughters, Martha J. wagers of Owenton and Christina King of Lexington; four sisters, Ann Combs, Wanda Wagers, Sue Wagers and Toni Stewart of Owenton; two brothers, Bill and David Wagers of Owenton. Also surviving are eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was a loving and caring person to everyone she touched, she will be missed by many. McDonald and New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements, Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Friday, July 27th from 5-8pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2pm with Bro. Jerry Handy presiding. Burial will be in the Combs Family Cemetery.
