Mable Hall

Mable Hall, 89, passed away Friday November 29, 2013 at her home. She was born in Owen County the daughter of the late Sherman and Roxie Porter Ruth. She was also preceded by her husband Pete Hall, siblings Eunice, Mary, Goble, Herbert and Dorothy and a grandson Adam Bradley. Mable was a cosmetologist, Fruit of the Loom employee, member of the Log Lick Christian Church and later in life enjoyed caring for children. Surviving are her children, Brenda Hensley (Ed), Beverly Mason (Gene), Butch McDarment (Sue) and Troi Cunningham (Chuck), seven grandchildren, Chip, Creg, Shannon, Amanda, Leigh, Autumn and Keegan who had the opportunity of being an extra caregiver for the last few years. Twelve great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren also survive along with a sister-in-law Dora Ruth and Nick Chappell who was close enough that he called her "Mom". Visitation is Sunday December 1 from 11 am til 2PM with the service at 2PM at McDonald & New - Main St. Burial will be in Beechwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Judes Children's Hospital, M.A.D.D. or Charity of Choice.
