Luenetta Hensley

Mrs. Luenetta Hensley, age 82, of Owenton, passed away Friday, July 18th at the Owenton Manor. Born February 22, 1932, in Grant County, she was the daughter of the late Elva and Golda Sebastian Scroggins and the widow of Ward Russell Hensley. She was also preceded by her son Herschell Hensley and her brother James Alton Scroggins. Mrs. Hensley was a homemaker and a member of the Mt. Lystra Christian Church. Surviving are her daughters, Beverly McNay and Pam (Randy) Smoot and her sons, Barry (Diane) Hensley, Doug (Kelly) Hensley and Chris (Julie) Hensley; her brother Elwood Scroggins; nineteen grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Wednesday, July 23rd from 11am - 2pm. Funeral services will follow at 2pm with Bro. Dale Adkins presiding. Burial will be in the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery in Holbrook. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church
