Louise O'Banion Cobb

Louise O'Banion Cobb, age 89, of Owenton, passed away Monday, May 21st at the Owenton Manor. Born August 27, 1922, in Owen County, she was raised by Joe and Minnie Kate O'Banion. Louise was a homemaker and a secretary for both Owen Electric and Eastern State Hospital. She and her late husband, Thomas E. "Doc" Cobb also owned and operated a Senior Retirement Park in Bear Foot Bay, Florida and a Variety Store in Wisconsin. She was also a member of the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. Surviving are her cousins, Donnie Fornash of Sparta and Peggy O'Banion of Frankfort. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Thursday, May 24th from 11am - 2pm. Funeral services will follow at 2pm with Bro. David "Milkweed" Wotier presiding. Memorial contributions may be made to Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church or the Owenton Manor Activities Fund.
