Lottie Jean (Hicks) Lee

Lottie Jean (Hicks) Lee, 79 and a resident of Sparta, passed away Monday, June 1st. Born in Owen County, Ky, May 20, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Stanley Jones and Anna Elizabeth King. Lottie was a machinist for the Dayton-Walther Company in Carrollton; she was also a homemaker and member of the Glencoe Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by two husbands; Bill Lee and Chester Hicks. She was also preceded by a son, Wesley Hicks, and a daughter, Cheryl Harris. Lottie is survived by one son: Ray Stull (Diane) of Owenton, five daughters: Linda Gentry of Russell Springs, Ky, Betty Shearer (Rufus) of Sparta, Eva Cozine (Randy) of Sparta, Beth Van Horn (Brett) of Barnesville, Ohio, and Ruth Ann Lewis (Emerson) of Poplar Grove, and one sister: Helen Gibson of Campbellsburg, Ky. Twenty-Five Grandchildren, Thirty-Seven Great Grandchildren and Four Great-Great Grandchildren also survive. Visitation will be held from 10am until 2pm on Thursday, June 4th, at the Garnett-New-McDonald Funeral Home in Warsaw. Funeral services will begin at 2pm. Bro. Tom Hall will be officiating. Burial will be in the Warsaw Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Estate of Lottie Lee.
