She was born September 23, 1962, in Cincinnati, OH and was a graduate of Boone County High School. She furthered her education at Northern Kentucky University and then became a staff accountant at Macy's. Lori was an avid collector and loved animals.
She is survived by her mother, Peggy New Rose; her father and step-mother, Gary and Jude Rose; her brother, Todd Allen (Danielle) Rose; her nieces and nephews, Garrett Allen Rose, Lacey Christine Rose, Weston Lee Rose, Muireann Shook and John Shook. She will also be missed by her aunts and uncles, Christine Reif, Rosemary Wainscott, Phyllis Wolfenbarger, Lucille Howard, Jackie Rose, Ricky Rose, Mike Rose and Danny Rose.
McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Monday, June 25, 2018, from 4 - 8 pm. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1 pm with Bro. Roger Alford presiding. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery and memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church or Owen County Friends of Animals.
