Lola Mae Mount

Lola Mae Haynes Mount, age 65, of Owenton passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at the Owenton Center.  Born June 5, 1952, in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Walter B. Haynes and Charlotte Stone Miller.  She was recently preceded in death by her husband, Theodore "Ted" Mount and was also preceded by her grandson, Todd Anthony Mount, Jr and her siblings, William Haynes and Paula Larkin.  Lola was a member of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed participating in activities at Owenton Center.  She also enjoyed camping when her health allowed.  She is survived by her children, Todd (Hope) Mount, Tony Jo Mount, Teddy (Holly) Mount and Brenda Hugenberg; sixteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.  Her siblings, Wayne and Marilyn Haynes and Barb Moffitt, also survive.McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.  Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 11 am until 2 pm.  Funeral services will follow at 2 pm with Bro. David "Milkweed" Wotier presiding.  Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery and memorial contributions may be made to the Owenton Center Activities Fund.
