Loith Gifford Harlow

Loith Gifford Harlow, 87, of Owenton, passed away Sunday, October 26, 2008 at the Georgetown Community Hospital. Born March 12, 1921, in Casey County, she was the daughter of the late E.M and Ida Lanham Gifford and the widow of Lyle C. Harlow. Mrs. Harlow was a retired hairdresser and a member of the Owen County Homemakers and the Owenton First Baptist Church. She is survived by three daughters, Connie (Eugene) Helton, Fairborne, OH, Nancye (Carroll) Bartley of Owenton and Patricia G. (Raymond) Wolfe of Sadieville; one brother, W.C. Gifford of Junction City, KY; one sister Margaret Balwin of California; six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from10am until 1pm at the Main Street location of McDonald & New Funeral Homes. Funeral services will follow at 1pm with Bro. Jesse Bourne, Bro. Glenn Mollette and Bro. Gene Helton presiding. Burial will follow in the Stamping Ground Cemetery.
