Lois Sharon Shireman

Lois Sharon Shireman, age 75, of Hazard and formerly of Owenton, passed away Monday, April 25, 2016 at Hazard Health and Rehab. Born September 4, 1940, in Owen County, she was the daughter of the late James and Ora Wash Sharon and was preceded in death by her nephew Paul Sharon. Lois was a homemaker and a member of the Christian faith. Surviving are her daughter, Sharon Shireman; her brother, Larry Sharon and her niece Crystal Sharon. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Saturday, April 30, 2016 from 9-10am. Funeral services will be held at 10am with burial in the Owenton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Activities Department at Hazard Health and Rehab, 390 Park Ave, Hazard KY 41701
