Logan Thomas Tackett

Logan Thomas Tackett, 17, passed away July 30, 2008 in Grant County. He was born in Madison, IN on March 13, 1991. He was a student at Gallatin County High School where he was a member of the marching band and FFA. He also enjoyed pulling tractors and hunting and was a member of the First Church of Christ in Burlington. He is survived by his parents Jeff and Paulette Tackett of Warsaw and Jennifer and Phil Brierly of Turner Station, sisters, Clarissa Tackett of Turner Station and Candy and Trey Young of Warsaw, step-sister, Heather Tackett of Costa Mesa, CA, step-brothers, Derek Weisbecker of Warsaw and Daniel Brierly of Turner Station, maternal grandparents, Louise and Bobby McIntyre of Owenton and Wendall and Barbara Parks of New Castle, Paternal grandparents, Bob and Betty Skirvin of Sparta along with two nieces and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be held Friday, August 1, from 4 to 9 pm at the Garnett-New-McDonald Funeral Home in Warsaw. Funeral services will begin at 1pm. on Saturday with Darrin Mirante officiating.
