Linda Lou Smith

Linda Lou Smith, age 64, of Frankfort, passed away at her home on July 2, 2026, surrounded by her family. 

Born June 5, 1962, in Owenton, KY, she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Billie Richardson Raisor.  She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Gary, Ricky, Danny, and Bobby Raisor. 

Linda was a retired housekeeper in the hospitality industry and was devoted to her family.  She enjoyed watching movies and helping Jessica Fletcher solve cases on Murder, She Wrote. Columbo and Andy Griffith were also among her favorites. She enjoyed going on walks, building puzzles, and growing her collection of Christmas music and sweaters. Most of all, she cherished being Nanny to her grandchildren. 

She will be deeply missed by her husband of over 21 years, Henry Smith; her children, Jamie Gaines, Anna Gaines, and Bonnie Ruth; her grandchildren, Kelly Owens, Linda Combs, Cody Combs, Rebecca Gaines, Billy Gaines, and Wyatt Russell; and her siblings, Peggy Deese, Ann Quarles, Barbara Wethington, and David Raisor .  She is survived by a host of extended family and friends, as well. 

Family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at 248 West Seminary Street, Owenton, KY 40359, from 10 am until 2 pm. Funeral services will follow at 2 pm with burial in the Monterey Cemetery.
