Linda Carol Aldridge

Linda Carol Aldridge, age 73, of Owenton, passed away Sunday, November 16, 2020, surrounded by her family.

Born December 10, 1946, in Owen County, she was the daughter of the late Porter and Tillie Weimer Morgan and preceded in death by her sisters, Judy Dunavent, Jeanie Cates, and Virginia Ruth Acuff. Linda was a 1964 graduate of Owen County High School and a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, growing flowers, and cooking.  She loved singing, dancing, and  traveling, especially to Branson and Tunica.  Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She will be missed by her husband of over 55 years, David C. Aldridge; her daughters, Laura (Danny) Maddox, Kim (Howard) Louden, and Vicki (Michael) Green; her brother, Jimmy Morgan; five grandchildren, five step grandchildren and one great grandchild.

McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Tuesday, November17, 2020 from 1 - 2 pm. Funeral services will follow at 2 pm with Bro. Craig Howard officiating. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Elizabeth.
