Lige Johnson

Lige Johnson Jr. age 90 and a resident of Ghent Kentucky passed away Monday, March 26th, at the Green Valley Health & Rehabilitation Center in Carrollton. Born March 29, 1921, Lige was the son of the late Lige Johnson Sr. and Hattie Johnson. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Ann Johnson. Lige was Veteran of the United States Army and member of the Bramlett Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Sue Edna Hughes Johnson; two sons: Charles Johnson and Larry Johnson; two half brothers: Robert & Ernie Johnson and a half sister: Betty. Two grandchildren and one great grandchild as well as two step-grandchildren also survive. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 28th, from 4 until 8pm at the Garnett-New-McDonald Funeral Home in Warsaw. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11am. Burial will follow in the Oakland Cemetery.
