Lester Eugene "Gene" Manley

Lester Eugene "Gene" Manley, 70, passed away Wednesday, October 21st, at the Carroll County Hospital in Carrollton. Born July 1939, he was the son of the late Rollie and Hazel Cummins Manley. He was also preceded in death by one son; Doug Manley, one daughter; Debbie Tolbert, one grand daughter; Tasha Tolbert and one brother; William Robert Manley. Gene worked as a meat cutter and manager for many years. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Humble Manley, one daughter: Denise Abercrombie of Sanders Ky, two brothers: Rollie Manley Jr. of Edingburg, In and Raymond Manley of Georgetown, Ky and one sister: Pauline Ellis of New Liberty, Ky. Gene is also survived by five grandchildren and five great grand children. Visitation will be held Friday, October 23rd from 4 until 8pm, at the Graham-Dunn Funeral Home in Carrollton. Funeral services will begin Saturday, October 24th, at 1 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in the New Liberty Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Champions for a Drug Free Carroll County.
