Leo "Lee" Maes, Jr.

Leo "Lee" Maes, Jr. age 89 of Owenton passed away Thursday, January 12, 2017 at the Liberty Nursing Care of Colerain in Cincinnati, OH. Born April 21, 1927, in Cincinnati, he was the son of the late Leo and Katherine Grofer Maes. Lee was a WWII Army veteran with the Army Air Force, retired from Ford Motor Company and a KY Colonel. He had lived at Elk Lake for over 35 years. Surviving are his wife Hilda Ruehl Maes; his son Donald (Marlene) Maes; grandson Adam Maes and his sister-in-law Esther Ruehl. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangemetns. Private family memorial services will be observed.
