Lenville "Gene" Eugene Davis

Lenville Eugene "Gene" Davis, age   Passed away at on Friday, November 17, 2023 at the University of KY Hospital, following a courageous battle with leukemia.

Born July 9, 1956, in McCreary County, KY, he was the son of the late Jame Isaac and Dorothy Margaret Troxell Davis. Gene was a self employed mason and enjoyed fishing and hunting with his buddies.  He loved visiting flea markets and hunting for clocks for his vast collection and took great pride in restoring his 1970 Chevelle.  Most of all he adored spoiling his wife and children and being Grampsie to his beloved grandchildren.

Gene will be missed by his wife, Sherry Traugott Davis; his children Sharon Wilson, Jessica Duncan, and Nathaniel Reynolds; his grandchildren, Cece Bryant, Kailyn Duncan, Caden Reynolds, and Liam Reynolds; and his sister Sharon Ross.

New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Seminary Street location on Monday, November 20, 2023 from 2 - 3pm.  A memorial service will follow at 3pm with Bro. David "Milkweed" Wotier presiding.
