Len Marshall Fitzgerald

Len Marshall Fitzgerald, 'Big Shorty', age 76, of Henry County, passed away Monday, March 29, 2021, at FRMC - ER.

Born February 6, 1945, in Owen County, he was the son of the late Curtis and Alene Farrar Fitzgerald. He was also preceded in death by his brother Glenn Fulton Fitzgerald. Len was a member of El Bethel Christian Church. He worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator. Len would be found mowing doing yard work or on the go. He was always full of energy and on the go. Len was a big jokester who spent the majority of his time with family and his grandkids.

Len will be missed by his children; Greg (Darlene) Fitzgerald, Faulata Fitzgerald, David (Kim) Fitzgerald, Scotty Fitzgerald, Len Jr.; his siblings; Marlene Adams, Maxine Brakefield; Aunt Jean Howard; his grandchildren; Gregory Scott, Sinsarah, Christy, Mayci and Kayci; his great-grandchildren; Ashton, Gavin, Lulu, Aida, Cira, Kami as well as a host of extended family and friends.

McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. A graveside service will be held in the Owenton Cemetery at 12 PM with Bro. Darrel Jackson and Tommy Lyons presiding. Please meet at the Main Street funeral home at 11:45 to go in procession.  Live stream available here.
