Larry Gayle Walker

Larry Gayle Walker, 81, passed away Friday September 3, 2021 in Frankfort. He was born on September 11, 1939 in Owen County the son of the late Raymond and Ruby Williams Walker. He was also preceded by a grandson Jaydon Lawrence Walker, four brothers, Vernon, Dale, Donald and Billy Walker, four sisters, Betty Walker, Sara Green, Charlsey Fishback and Nora Robbins, two half brothers, Lewis Robinson and Jual Dunavent. Larry was retired from Fedders Feed Store and had also worked for many years at Kraft Foods. He served his country in the Army and also was a volunteer fire fighter for the Owenton Fire Department for many years. He is survived by his wife Sandra Riddle Walker, his son, Shannon (Gail) Walker and his daughter, Sabrina Walker, six grandchildren, Nathaniel Prather, Liberty Abrams, Shaina Walker, Alexis Walker, Kaitlyn and Olivia Cunningham, two sisters, Janice Keith and Carolyn Bennett and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday Sept. 7 from 4 to 8 and the funeral will be on Wednesday at 1PM at McDonald & New - Main St. Memorials may be made to Cedar Hill Baptist Church, Hospice or Owen County Volunteer Fire Dept. Burial will be in Owenton Cemetery with Military Honors.
