Larry Reese Prather

Born October 4, 1955, in Franklin County, he was the son of the late Estill and Lottie "Imogene" Groves Prather. Larry worked as a cheese maker at Kraft Foods and retired after 23 years of service as a Toolmaker with Actaris. He was a member of Greenup Fork Baptist Church where he was a deacon.
Surviving are his wife, Teresa Caldwell Prather; his sisters, Judith Darlene Hunter and Sandra Kay Salmons as well as 16 nieces and nephews.
McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Friday, November 2, 2018, from 5-8pm. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Saturday with Bro. John Wyatt presiding. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery and memorial contributions may be made to Greenup Fork Baptist Church.
