Larry R. Howell

Larry R. Howell, age 76, of Frankfort, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Frankfort Regional Medical Center.

Born May 21, 1947, in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was the son of the late Arlan C. and Wilena Clifton Howell. Larry enjoyed spending his days at Frankfort Active Day where he had many friends and was cherished by the staff.  He loved people and going out in his community where he enjoyed local festivals, restaurants, the movie theater, and going fishing.  Larry's hobbies were artwork, singing karaoke, working crossword puzzles, and playing Bingo. He was an avid sports fan who loved football, baseball, and basketball and supported many area teams including UK, Louisville, and Cincinnati.  Among those, the Cincinnati Bengals were probably his favorite. Larry loved collecting baseball caps and listening to old country music.

Larry will be missed by his friends and caregivers, Angel Trautwein, Joey Thomas, Paul Daniels, and Tom Jones; as well as his cousins, Wanda Thomas and Rita Henry.

New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 21, 2024, from 2 - 4 pm. Private burial will be held at Crown Hill Memorial Park where Larry will be laid to rest with his parents.
