Larry Wayne Gibson

Larry Wayne Gibson, age 61, of Cincinnati passed away Monday, March 23, 2015 at the home of his daughter. Born July 3, 1953, in Grant County, he was the son of the late Dewey Gibson and Anna Margaret King McKinney. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Don, Alice and Delbert. Larry was employed as an Assistant Manager at the Free Store Food Bank for 29 years and at Crayons and Computers for over 17 years. Surviving are his wife of over 35 years, Patricia Charles Gibson; his children, Jonathan (Alice) Gibson, Ulave (Billly) Partin, Samantha Gibson, Tabatha (Monty) Payton, Karen Gibson and Derick Gibson; sixteen grandchildren, Heather, Christina, Billy, Anthony, C.J., Autumnn, Brian, Nathan, Syrus, Kayla, Kevin, Armonie, Leeanna, Josh, Hadassah and Preston; many great grandchildren; his siblings, Linda McKinney, Dewey, Jackie, Roy, Elmer, Gary, Johnny and James Gibson. Also surviving are a host of extended family members and friends. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Sunday, March 29th from 3-6pm. Funeral Services will follow at 6pm with Pastor, Randy Thomas presiding. Burial will take place at 2pm Monday in the Owenton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Gibson Family.
