Larry Allen Furnish Sr.

Larry Allen Furnish Sr., 69 of Ghent passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at his residence. He was the son of the late Robert B. and Mildred Berkshire Furnish. He was also preceded in death by his brother; Robert Furnish Jr. He is survived by his wife; Martha West Furnish. Mr. Furnish was a retired Welder. Survivors include; two sons; Larry Allen Furnish Jr. of Boone County, Jason Thomas Furnish of Boone County. Three daughters; Faith Bishop of Gallatin County, Marta Sims of Gallatin County, and Karen Furnish of Gallatin County. Two sisters; Brenda Webster of Owen County and Mildred Furnish of Gallatin County. Also surviving are twelve grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday at the Garnett-New-McDonald Funeral Home at 1:00P.M. Visitation will be held on Thursday at the funeral home from 4-8pm. Burial will be in the Ghent Cemetery. Bro. Darrell Maines will officiate the services. Donations may be made to the Hospice of St. Elizabeth or to the Parkinsons Foundation.
