Larry Ray Duncan

Larry Ray Duncan, 71, passed away Saturday, March 25, 2017 in Edgewood, KY. Born April 26, 1945 in Covington the was the son of the late Raymond Howard and Kathleen Kincaid Duncan. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert Harold "Bobby" Duncan and David H. Duncan. He was a longtime tobacco farmer, member of Lusby's Mill Baptist Church and enjoyed bass fishing. He is survived by his wife Georgetta Roland Duncan; two daughters, Sandy (Scott) Gibson and Susan (Cecil) Ellis; three brothers, Jerry, Billy and Johnny Duncan and a sister Kathy Riley. Four granddaughters, Chelsea and Michaela Gibson, Alexis (John) Taylor and Morgan Ellis also survive. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends the the Main Street location on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 from 4 to 8pm. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 AM with Bro. Ken McCain and Bro. Jesse Bourne presiding. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery and memorial contributions may be made to Lusby's Mill Baptist or St. Elizabeth Hospice.
