Larry Edward Cook

Larry Edward Cook, age 67, of Dry Ridge passed away Wednesday, April 24 at the Grant Manor. Born April 12, 1946, in Owenton he was the son of the late Harold Edward and Anna Chrisman "Chris" House Cook; he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Goodrich Cook and his brother Ronald Cook. Larry was retired from Schlumberger and was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church. Surviving are, Carol Burke Cook; his daughters, Kimberly Hearn, Jennifer Cavins, Crissy Whalen; two brothers, Dwight and Junnie Cook; three sisters, Brenda Bruce, Anna Brown and Ronda Hammond; nine grandchildren, Heather, Travis, Ashley, Jarrod, Joselyn, Jessica, Dakota, Dalton and Dillon and seven great grandchildren, Kendall, Kaydence, Madison, Stefany, Ian, Hayon and Lylah. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Friday, April 26th from 4-8pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1pm with Bro. Gene Hill presiding. Memorial contributions may be made to God's Special Little Hearts, 2145 Hwy 35, Sparta, KY 41086.
