Kitty Montgomery

Warsaw-Kitty Montgomery, a Warsaw resident, passed away Wed. March 18, 2009 at her home at the age of 103. She was born in Gallatin County the daughter of the late Vachel Lindsay and Willie Mae Gridley McDanell and was also preceded in death by her husband Adrian Montgomery and a daughter Louise Wilson and ten siblings. She was a retired Secretary/Treasurer for the Gallatin County Fire Wind & Lightning Ins. Co. and was a member of the Warsaw Methodist Church. She is survived by a son Chester Montgomery of Amherst, OH and a daughter Joyce Maxwell of Warsaw. Six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren also survive. The funeral will be on Saturday March 21 at the Garnett-New-McDonald Funeral Home at 1PM with visitation starting at 10AM. Burial will follow in the Warsaw Cemetery and memorial contributions may be made to the Warsaw Methodist Church.
