Kirby Lee Burke

Kirby Lee Burke, age 78, of Owenton, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2016. Born August 20, 1938, in Owen County, he was the son of the late Charlie and Ollie Cobb Burke. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Bobby and Delbert Burke. He is survived by his sons, Kirby Burke, Jr. of Belmont, California and Daryl (Krista) Burke of Colorado; his sister, Sue (Donald) Gaines; his granddaughter, Ashley Burke; step grandchildren, Bryan, Brandon and Katlin as well as six great grandchildren. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. A memorial service will be held at 11am Saturday, December 10, 2016 at the Seminary Street location. A private burial will take place at the Monterey Cemetery.
