Kimberly Smith Johnson

Kimberly Sue Smith-Johnson, 42, of Whites Creek, TN and formerly of Owenton, passed away unexpectedly Monday July 28th in Nashville. Born December 18, 1965, in Owen County, she was an IT coordinator for BMI and a member of Cedar Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Eva and Willie Crawford and Nim and Pauline Smith. She is survived by her parents Oldham and Peggy Smith of Owenton; her husband Larry Johnson of Whites Creek, TN; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. Arrangements are being handled by McDonald & New Funeral Homes. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location, Wednesday, July 30th, from 4 -8pm. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1pm with Bro. Hardin Lowe presiding. Burial will be in the Wheatley Masonic Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Sanders Baptist Church.
