Keshia Marie Taylor

Keshia Marie Taylor, age 46, of Monterey, passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2019 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Born July 1, 1973, in Rowan County, KY she was the daughter of George Land and Della Sloan Buckler.  Keshia was a cake baker and decorator at Meadowview Shopwise. She was a creative person who loved refinishing and repurposing furniture. She was always happy and never met a stranger. She also enjoyed crafts, painting and sewing. Keshia was preceded in death by her grandparents, Fonza and Amanda Sloan and Charlie and Faye Lands as well as her cousin Glenna.

Surviving are her husband, Bradley Taylor; her parents, Della Sloan Bucker, John Stockdale and George Lands; her stepson, Devin Taylor; her in-laws, Larry & Ernestine House and a host of extended family and friends.

McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Thursday, September 5, 2019 from 10am until 1pm. Funeral services will follow at 1pm with Bro. Bob Miller presiding. Burial will be in the Monterey Cemetery. Memorial contributions are encouraged to McDonald & New Funeral Homes.
