Kenny Suter

Kenny Suter, 68, of Wheatley passed away, Friday, July 25th at the New Horizons Medical Center. Born August 25, 1939, in Carroll County he was the son of the late Elbert Suter. He was a farmer and a life-long member of the Dallasburg Baptist Church, serving as deacon, Sunday School teacher, treasurer, clerk and choir member. He was a veteran, a member of the Mason Lodge, served as a director in Farm Bureau and on several other boards. He wanted everyone to know that he enjoyed it all, but that “First and last of all I am a child of God.” He is survived by his mother, Pauline Suter; his wife, Sharon Brock Suter; daughter Stephanie (Terry) Dezarn all of Wheatley; his son Keenan (Heidi) Suter of Shelbyville,; his sister Rita (Doug) Ball of Wheatley; five grandchildren also survive, Jared, Kirsten, Raley, Hannah and Shannon. Arrangements are being handled by McDonald & New Funeral Homes. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location, Tuesday, July 29th, from 4 until 8pm. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2pm at the funeral home, with Bro. Matt Dye officiating. Burial will be in the Wheatley Masonic Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to Dallasburg Baptist Church.
